Ashford Formula in Alabama
One of the Most Trusted Treatments in Concrete
Ashford Formula is a penetrating liquid densifier that reacts chemically with your concrete to harden and seal it from within. Instead of sitting on top like a coating, it becomes part of the slab, so there is nothing to peel, flake, or wear off. The concrete simply gets denser, stronger, and more resistant to dust, moisture, and abrasion.
As a proud certified applicator, Mularski Concrete applies Ashford Formula the right way, on new and existing concrete alike. With time and use, treated floors take on a natural sheen and only get tougher. It is one of the most trusted concrete treatments in the industry, and we have been applying it across Alabama for years.

What Ashford Formula Does
Hardens & Densifies
Reacts with the concrete to create a denser, harder, more abrasion resistant surface.
Stops Dusting
Seals the slab from within so it stops shedding the fine dust that bare concrete creates.
Resists Moisture
Tightens the concrete against water and moisture for a cleaner, more durable floor.
Improves Over Time
The more a treated floor is used and cleaned, the smoother and more polished it becomes.
Our Application Process
Prep the Surface
We clean the concrete and remove coatings, curing agents, or residue that would block penetration.
Apply the Densifier
We flood the surface with Ashford Formula and keep it active so it can soak deep into the concrete.
Work & Rinse
We work the product across the slab as it reacts, then rinse and remove the excess.
Dry & Use
The treatment cures inside the concrete, leaving a hardened, dust free surface ready for service.

Steve R.Ashford Formula FAQs
What is Ashford Formula?
Ashford Formula is a penetrating liquid densifier that chemically reacts with concrete to harden and seal it from the inside. It is one of the most trusted concrete treatments in the industry.
Is it a coating?
No, and that is the point. Because it penetrates and becomes part of the slab instead of forming a film on top, there is nothing to peel, flake, blister, or wear away.
What does it do for my floor?
It hardens and densifies the concrete, stops dusting, improves resistance to moisture and abrasion, and makes the floor easier to clean. Treated floors also develop a natural sheen with use.
Can it be applied to existing concrete?
Yes. Ashford Formula works on both new and existing concrete, as long as the surface is properly cleaned and free of coatings that would block penetration.
How long does it last?
Because it becomes part of the concrete rather than sitting on the surface, the treatment is permanent and does not need to be reapplied like a topical sealer.
Does it change how the floor looks?
It does not add color or a glossy coating. Over time, foot and equipment traffic burnish treated floors into a soft, natural sheen.
