Pouring & Finishing in Alabama
Done Right From the Ground Up
A concrete slab is only as good as what goes underneath it and the hands that finish it. We handle the entire job in house, from tearing out and hauling away the old surface to grading, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing the new one. The result is flat, solid, and built to last.
Whether it is a single driveway or an entire subdivision, we bring the same precision and clean execution to every pour, no matter the surface, size, or scope. Our crew has been laying concrete across Alabama since 1997.
- Driveways and parking areas
- Patios and walkways
- Sidewalks and curbs
- Garage and basement slabs
- Footings and foundations
- Commercial and industrial flatwork

Our Pour & Finish Process
Tear Out & Demo
We remove and haul away old, cracked, or failing concrete to clear the way for the new pour.
Grade & Form
We grade the base, set forms to the right slope and depth, and place stone and poly for drainage and support.
Reinforce & Pour
We tie rebar or set mesh, then pour quality concrete and screed it level.
Finish & Cure
We float, trowel, and texture the surface, cut control joints, and let it cure for lasting strength.

Steve R.Pour & Finish FAQs
How long does new concrete take to cure?
It is usually safe to walk on within 24 to 48 hours and ready for vehicles in about 7 days, though it keeps gaining strength for several weeks. We give you exact timelines for your project.
Why does concrete crack, and can you prevent it?
All concrete can develop small cracks, but proper base prep, reinforcement, and well placed control joints keep them to a minimum and out of sight. That prep is where we focus.
Do I need to remove my old concrete first?
If the existing surface is badly cracked, sunken, or failing, yes. We handle the tear out and haul away as part of the job, so you have one crew from start to finish.
Can you match my existing concrete?
We do our best to match color and finish to nearby concrete, though some variation is normal since concrete ages and weathers over time.
What size projects do you take on?
Everything from a single residential slab to large commercial and industrial pours. No project is too big or too small.
How thick should my driveway or slab be?
It depends on the use. We recommend the right thickness, reinforcement, and base for your specific project during your free estimate.
