Concrete Stains & Sealers in Alabama
Color That Lasts. Protection That Pays Off.
Staining brings concrete to life with deep, natural color, from warm earth tones to bold, saturated shades. Sealing locks that look in and adds a tough barrier against water, stains, UV fading, and everyday wear. Together they turn plain or tired concrete into a surface that looks great and holds up for years.
As certified color specialists, we match the right stain and finish to your space, then seal it to protect the investment. Whether it is a stamped patio, a garage floor, or a commercial space, we have been coloring and sealing concrete across Alabama since 1997.
- Patios and outdoor living spaces

Steve R.Stains & Sealers FAQs
What is the difference between staining and sealing?
Staining adds color to the concrete, while sealing protects it and locks that color in. Most projects use both, color first and then a sealer over the top.
How long does sealer last?
It depends on the sealer and the traffic, but most need reapplying every few years to keep their protection and shine. We will tell you what to expect for your surface.
Will the stain look the same everywhere?
Acid stains are reactive and naturally vary across the slab, which is part of their appeal. Water based stains and dyes give a more uniform, predictable color if that is what you want.
Is sealed concrete slippery?
A glossy sealer can be slick when wet. For pool decks, walkways, and other wet areas we add a slip resistant additive to the sealer.
Can you stain or seal existing concrete?
Yes. As long as the surface is sound and properly cleaned, we can stain and seal existing patios, floors, and driveways, not just new pours.
Does sealer change how the concrete looks?
It can. A penetrating sealer keeps a natural matte look, while a film forming sealer deepens the color and adds sheen. We will show you the options before we start.
